- If
I had a slip before the storm, why can't I keep my old slip?
Until the harbor is fully restored, the harbor will operate in a
temporary mode where only the west pier will be used. The north and east
piers will be closed with gates installed at their entrances. This is a
temporary remedy until the harbor is restored. When the harbor gets rebuilt,
the application process will work very similar to the
temporary slip assignment process.
